"No excuses"

President Obama speaking at the NAACP's 100th anniversary.

To witness that speech, delivered by the president of the United States... it's an incredible miracle.

Please, I beg you Jeff (and anyone else who reads this). Do you not see that this man's radical progressive agenda is crippling America and bringing us our nation to its knees?? We cannot sustain all of these heavily committed spending "programs" and "packages" that this administration is placing on the table. This country is imploding and will continue to do so if the Obama administration is not stopped. With Obama's approval ratings slipping in every category with every passing day, I'm a little hopeful that the people of this country are finally paying attention to our political leaders. I only hope it's not too late. Please everyone, keep an open mind and do your homework on ALL of these politicians that want to lead us. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that we, as a people, who have been given this wonderful burden of having a democratic society, use this power of our "VOTE" wisely. We must pay attention to what these political leaders stand for, what their voting record is, what their experience is, what affiliations they have with other leaders, what their affiliations with people in their past has shown us, etc. THEN, and only then, can we, the American people make the CORRECT decision of who should lead us at home, and represent us abroad. Use your brain in the next election. Not your heart. Sorry, I know this won't be a popular comment, but I Love my country too much, and I feel the only way i can make a difference is to speak up.

Thanks for the comment. I agree- speak up! Everyone should. All perspectives are important. Though I must say, I have no idea why you'd choose to do so anonymously.

Anyway, I'm very concerned about our nation's ability to sustain our debt in the long and medium term. It's very troubling.

Who do you think, specifically, has the right ideas for our country these days?
